A commitment to quality and innovation is at the heart of the Holman philosophy

The Holman Story

Holman Industries was founded in 1966 by Simon Holman in Perth, Western Australia.

In 1991 the business was taken over by Wally and Kerry Edwards, starting the business by developing and focusing primarily on innovative electronic water devices and expanding over the following 30 years into developing more efficient domestic watering products, lighting, garden decor and eventually, plumbing fittings.

We are passionate about innovation and have continued to invest in Research and Development to ensure our commitment to better designed products continues to remain our true focus.

Since early 2018 we have improved our plumbing division by purchasing state of the art moulding machines in our Perth factory. We are proud to have been able to supply plumbing and civil markets with quality PVC fittings and at the same time, employing Australian workers to make Australian products.

A united family of brands

In 2024 a major milestone in our industry saw Holman become part of the global manufacturing group, RWC.

Catering to complimentary markets and with aligning company values to Holman, RWC had been founded on the other side of the country in Brisbane, Australia in 1936. Also from humble engineering workshop beginnings, RWC has grown to become a worldwide group with a clear purpose: Making customers’ lives easier with clever solutions for the built environment.

Now headquartered in Atlanta USA, the RWC group has a truly global reach, with an integrated family of brands including SharkBite, Reliance Valves and John Guest at its core.

As part of RWC, the Holman innovative spirit is stronger than ever – pioneering new products, sectors and ways to connect with our family of brands, across the world. Together, we’re constantly looking ahead at new applications and challenges, from sustainability to the changing needs of the modern built environment, to how we can continue to make lives easier and safer for the next generation.
