Our engineers and quality assurance personnel put every part of every product through military-grade testing and spend years fiddling with pressure chambers, 3-D printers, and test fields to find new ways of solving the oldest problems in irrigation.

Nelson traces its history of innovation back to 1911, when Lewen Russell Nelson invented the “Clincher” hose coupler and founded the Central Brass and Stamping Company.

The function of a pressure regulator is to reduce a varying inlet pressure to a constant outlet pressure, regardless of changes in the upstream pressure due to flow, elevation, pumping, etc.
